Easy to use.
The C4 is the easiest CMM DCC to use. Created with the intention of lowering the training threshold required to successfully operate and even program a CMM DCC, every component, from mechanics to software, has been examined for optimal user experience and ease of use.

Portability.
The C4 is the world's first direct computer-controlled coordinate measuring machine (DCC CMM). At only 30 pounds, the C4 conveniently accompanies you wherever you need it. No longer are you required to carry the part to the CMM; from a surface plate, to a table in the shop or on a large part itself, C4 can be deployed directly into the manufacturing process.
Power.
Being tethered to a power outlet is a thing of the past. The C4 is powered by a built-in 10.8 volt lithium-ion battery, which provides enough power for accurate and precise measurements for four hours in the field. The C4 is truly wireless. A power supply charger is included for quick recharges between or during use.
Probe system.
The C4 ensures accuracy with an industry standard probe system. Find comfort in knowing that accurate, easy-to-acquire results are measured with this reliable touch-trigger probe system. Whatever your measurement task, this probe system allows optimal stylus arrangement for accuracy.
Programming.
Automate measurement processes and get accurate data time after time. The unique C4 clutch moves seamlessly from direct computer to manual control without the need to activate switches or click buttons. Simply move the probe manually, and the computer remembers and reproduces the movements for accurate, repeatable measurements.
Software.
The C4 comes with ControlCAT: integrated, easy-to-use geometric measurement software, controlled through an intuitive touch screen icon-based interface. Take advantage of direct computer-controlled measurements without the need for a secondary computer. From shop floor technicians to dedicated CMM operators, anyone can feel comfortable operating C4.
